15th Annual Gig Harbor Beer & Cider Festival

The 15th Annual Gig Harbor Beer & Cider Festival returns to the Uptown pavilion on Saturday, May 16, 2026. Hosted by the Kiwanis Club of Gig Harbor, this community favorite runs from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM and directly supports local nonprofits and families. Attendees can enjoy five hours of craft beverages, live music, and classic festival food in a lively outdoor atmosphere.

 

Brewery Lineup & On-Site Activities

This year’s festival features a curated selection of 18 custom-crafted local breweries and cideries from across the region. While you sample the Pacific Northwest’s best craft beverages, you can also participate in several unique festival events:

 

  • Stein-Holding Contest: Test your strength and endurance in a traditional beer stein-holding competition.

     

  • Best Beer Shirt Contest: Wear your most creative or humorous brewery gear for a chance to win local bragging rights.

     

  • Live Music: The event opens at noon with live performances from The Shy Boys and My Guilty Pleasure.

     

  • Food Vendors: Kiwanis will be serving their famous pretzel necklaces and grilled hot dogs on-site.

     

Ticket Details & Entry

Tickets for the festival are priced at $44.52. It is important to note that this is a strict 21+ only event; no children or pets are allowed unless they are registered service animals. The festival will proceed rain or shine, with extra tents available if the May weather turns damp.
